News Flash: IRS opens FREE eFiling for 1099s!

Better late then never! Less than a week before the Jan 31st deadline, the IRS finally created a free option to file 1099s online:  https://www.irs.gov/filing/e-f...

Warning: the old post mentions Feb 1st as the deadline, but it was due to Jan 31st falling on the weekend that year. Jan 31st is the deadline!

Another warning: Zelle payments are not considered electronic payments and they DO require 1099s
