Where can I find a loan to convert my garage?

Does any one know or have an idea of where I can get a personal loan for 10-15k so I can convert my garage into a studio that I will be renting out? Ive tried so online lenders and I'm waiting to hear back from some local credit unions. If you have any other ideas Id appreciate it. Thanks

@Blake Van Ness  I recently applied with both Discover and SoFi personal loans.  Discover pre-approved me for $35k and SoFi $50k, both on-line with soft credit pulls.  I went with SoFi, final approval in about 30 min and had the funds in my account the next business day.  No fees at all and no pre-pay penalties.
