Good evening BP. I've been on Craigslist over the weekend looking for properties for sale by owner. I have taken there contact and some notes on some listings. I now want to via email of call them to ask if they're willing to do seller finance. Is there any proper way to ask them if they would consider seller finance? What I have so far.. "Good evening my name is Carlos Rodrigues and I saw your ad on Craigslist with the property in ______________ for sale. I wanted to ask if you need to be 100% cashed out or are you able to provide any seller financing?" Thank you in advance

@Carlos Rodrigues  I've done a number of seller finance deals, buying.  Most of the deals I've found have been advertised.  Search on seller/owner financing in CL and you'll certainly see a number of listings show up!  Then hammer out the terms that work depending on their needs.

Important on your side: get it appraised so you know you're not overpaying, get a good attorney that knows the lasted regulations with owner finance, and have a good exit plan. Most owner finance holders don't go over 5-7 years, give or take.

Good luck!
