Can an FHA loan be assumed if the intention of the purchase is to be an investment and not a primary residence?

Thanks in advance.

I believe the Gov't backed loans are assumable.  You just need to be underwritten, i.e. qualify, for that loan.  However, that means you need to follow the terms of the loan which SHOULD include the first year owner-occupation requirements.  Have the lender confirm for you.
