If I refinance my rental, can I refi my primary shortly after?

Hey Folks - 

I am thinking about refinancing my rental property now, but I'm curious if that will mean I have to wait 6 months to refi the primary? I know there's a 6 month rule about refinancing, but I'm not sure if it only applies to a single property.
