Hello all! So I’ve flipped multiple houses and

Have made pretty good money. A family

Member Wants to lend me money.

I was flattered by the offer. Now I want them

To make a good chunk of money but I’m not

Exactly sure what A good interest rate I should

offer them. Below is a breakdown of

The interest rates I was thinking. Please

Let me know what you think. Thank you

In advance. Loan will be repaid after

The sale of the property.

$5,000 -$10,000 = 15% return

$20,000-$30,000 = 20% return

$40,000+ = 25% return

Are these rates to high or low?

That sounds like a very healthy return for the investor considering the projected turn around. On one hand it is their first investment with you and you want to give them a good return to get them to continue to invest. On the other hand, this will also likely set a precedent for future deals on what they will expect, so keep that in mind.
