What are reasonable terms for private lending these days?

I haven't used private money yet but know an individual who has expressed an interest in giving me loans. I'm finally getting the deal flow where it may make sense to take them up on it. Just wondering what people consider to be reasonable terms for such loans these days, the friends and family loans if you will.
