What is a reasonable time frame to hear back from a mortgage guy?

Hello all!

So I am closing on another SFR next month. I decided to take a loan against another rental I own free and clear to replace my funds. Tried with Quicken first. Very responsive, within an hour of my app they had run credit, and came back with approx terms etc. I wasn't happy with the outcome so I was referred by another investor to a guy that works for a small bank. He was great, we spoke for an hour, and emailed me their app and what else he needed. Sent it all to him on Sunday so he would have it for Monday am. Monday am I received an email that he got my paperwork, and that's the last I heard from him. I emailed him for any updates yesterday afternoon and still have heard nothing. What gives? When should I bug him again?

Thanks!

@Matt M. don’t hesitate to call.  I can tell you from personal experience that sometime a busy week can get just slip away. On top of that purchases usually take precedent.

I never get upset if a customer calls me to ask about timeline. Chances are that he may just need a reminder.
