Private Money Lending
Anyone here have to pay any upfront fees when they starting working with the private lender? Like origination fees, processing fees, etc.

Definitely could be a scam. I was contacted not too long ago from a private investor who offered a rate that seemed too good to be true. They wanted an application fee upfront. Turned out to be a scam. Be cautious!
