Hey BP family, Wanted to reach out to you guys here. I have his duplex that I have under contract and wanted to put 20% down but now my lender is telling me I have to put 25% down. I need help here, is this true that lenders won’t offer 20% down anymore. I tried local banks and 2 banks said the same thing. My close date is suppose to be July 2. Please any help will be appreciated or if any lenders out there who is willing to help with 20% down please feel free to message me.

I am closing on a duplex on July 3 with 20% down. I called several banks in the area.

In Wisconsin, I found a published list of all banks, and sorted by assets under management and geographic proximity to me. Contact the smaller ones and you’ll have luck.
