Could this be a private money SCAM?
This is random, but it just hit me that you could have the answer to this. I am speaking to a private money lender I met on LinkedIn, he's terms are cheaper, and more laxed than any other lender I have spoken to. So much so, I am starting to not trust it. feels too good to be true. The only commitment he asks me for, is a 1% origination fee. is there any documentation or proof I should be Asking him to provide me? I feel like he should be more worried or concerned lending me $170,000. How does he secure his money? How should the title look. do both of our names go on it, or ...? please help
