5 craziest reasons for not providing financial statements
In keeping with the humorous element of the lending profession, here are the 5 craziest reasons given to us for not being able to provide financial statements when requesting a loan
5. My accountant only works during the tax season and he's too busy during that time to do our books
4. I just keep all receipts in a shoe box, and my wife threw out the shoe box
3. I haven't filed a tax return for four years, and if I start now I'll get in trouble with the IRS
4. Financial statements don't tell you anything about the finances of a business
5. I've gotten many business and real estate loans, and I've never been asked for financial information
As i previously stated, you can't make this up!
