Personal home into Trust
Question:
I bought a house in my personal name and got a hard money loan to renovate for myself to move into. This then does not allow me to refinance into a conventional loan is I am doing a cashout if I have it in my personal name. Can I put the home into a trust ( rent it to myself ) and refinance into a commercial loan? This way I might pay a higher interest rate but get all the tax benefits of renovations and such.
