@Deadrick Colbert I just read another thread today where someone said they had done several deals with them and they are a legitimate lender. Search for their name in the BP search box and you should find a few threads talking about them. If I remember correctly, I've also heard Michael Blank recommend them for getting a Proof of Funds letter (costs $5 and is apparently not very hard to get).

This is an old post, but my experience with COGO was so bad, I need to chime in and say it was terrible! They were slow, cumbersome, and impolite. I almost lost a deal and had to change lenders days prior to my deadline.

@Dixie Yang that makes sense. It doesn't seem to really be backed by anything. I used one once just to satisfy a seller's realtor and they accepted it, but the truth is that afterwards I wasn't sure if it was a good idea.

@Chris Kraemer I had the same experience on two deals.
