Mortgage Officer offered 20yr mortgage 10/1 Arm?

My mortgage officer offered a 20 year mortgage and a 10/1 arm. It almost makes my mortgage payment to the point where there would be no cash flow. Why wouldn't she just use the standard 30 year mortgage. I'll talk to her and get that switched but was curious as to why she would even offer that in the first place, knowing my whole objective is cash flow.
