Quicken Loans down payment grant

I reside in Charleston SC. I was recently pre-approved by quicken loans for the conventional owner occupant down payment grant program, in which quicken loans grants two percent of the three percent down payment. I tried to ask the broker what the requirements were on living in the house for a year and then renting it out, and she said she didn't know anything about that. Does anyone have experience/insight with this type of loan?

Quicken Loans Grant?   I wouldn't trust Quicken Loans to give away anything.   I'm sure there's a catch and that there's a better deal elsewhere.    If you need the name of a decent mortgage guy who can tell you what your options are (including if you can get 2% of your down payment covered somehow) pm me and I'll send his contact to you.    I don't think I'm allowed to post that type of thing on the forum even though I don't benefit from any business I send his way.
