Hi there my name is Derek Chiasson. I'm currently not able to get a conventional mortgage because of our mileage deduction on our 1099. We make plenty of money for this house which is 228k. There's already 20k equity in the property. I need to be steered in the right direction Thanks for reading

Derek,  If you do not qualify for the conventional loan then you need to either reach out to local banks to see if they will finance the property AND they keep the loan in-house  or look for private lenders,.....there are a few here on this site.

BTW, if you don't mind me asking, how did the mileage deduction on a 1099 cause a problem ?
