North Carolina- Buyer Commission earned as down payment

Hi All,

I'm a newly licensed RE agent/Investor in Charlotte, North Carolina.  I know many of you who are licensed use your (buying) commission earned as a part of their down payment.  I understand this varies state to state.

My question- Does North Carolina allow this, and does anyone have a recommended lender who understands what we are trying to accomplish?

Thanks,
Justin Reed

Justin, If the lender DOES look surprised, you might want to look for a different lender.
