Closing date on 1/29 but seller won't extend, need help!!!
There were some issues that caused some delay and we finally had an appraisal which was done on Monday and ETA for the report is Friday and the sellers are refusing to give me another extension since I already extended from 1/15. My lender say I am unable to close Friday "Due to new CFPB regulations lenders must provide Closing Disclosure to the borrowers 3 days prior to closing." I don't know what to do, I spent so much money already, at least 2k for everything. I asked if I can waive that 3 day waiting period but my lender say no.
I don't want to lose my first purchase. Is there anything that I can do? Should I do a quick hard money lending or something? I only have 2 days!!! :(

@Amy Nguyen a good agent and or mortgage broker should be able to calm seller down and assure them that closing will be next week.
although if seller thinks they sold way to low and wants out.. then you need to read your contract.. in our market here ( and its different everywhere) if you don't close on the close date contract is voidable.. and you would not have any standing..
with the new TRID laws I would be writing closing addendums with my contracts addressing these up front... ANd good agents should be doing this for you at this time. game has changed industry needs to adjust
