I have Poor Credit but need a HELOC

My Credit Score is in the mid 500s. I own my home free and clear. By bank (wells fargo) says I need at least a 640. My home value is around 400k now. More after repair.

does anyone have any suggestions for possible alternatives? I want to take about 100-150k out
