Credit Analyst- Ask me anything
Hello everyone! I have been a part of the Biggerpockets community for a few months now but have not been very active in the community. I have learned a lot from everyone here though by reading several forum posts and, in return, I would like to help others out as well.
I am a credit analyst at a community bank and we tend to have different guidelines as loans are booked under the commercial side rather than traditional residential and then sold. I am the one in charge (typically) with analyzing the financials of the borrow. We regularly see investment real estate loans, so I would like to use my experience to potentially help fellow community members with questions or concerns they may have.
Similar to what you would see on reddit, feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I'll try to answer your questions in a timely manner!
** I will not give individual advice nor ask about personal financials. This is to help those potentially looking for loans now or in the near future so that they are prepared.

This is a good gesture Isaiah. From my wondering around the boards on these matters perhaps you can dig a little into some of the contrast between your portfolio loan guidelines versus those an investor might see coming from one of the GSE's.
Also, as an honorable mention, does your bank consider cross collateralized loans over investor portfolio's with multiple properties?
