Need help with commercial lending/creative financing for commercial property

Kevin Sardja

Hello all,

Am looking for advice on raising capital for my first commercial deal. Would love to know how you raised money/got financing for your first deal (either via traditional lending or private money) and if you have any advice on where and how to get started? Any banks you've used in the past?

@Kevin Sardja

If you are planning on raising funds from passive investors, you should speak to an SEC attorney before moving forward. If all of the partners are going to be active, you can speak to a real estate attorney to help draft a JV partnership agreement. I would figure out your ideal structure before speaking to lenders.
