What is the best way to shop around for HELOC's? Do you recommend big banks, small banks, credit union, another option that I'm unaware of?
Thanks!

Try your local community banks and credit unions. There are also some competitive national HELOC providers out there - last I checked, PNC Bank had some of the best terms. Flagstar and US Bank are also good options.
