How many banks did you call before you got a cash out refi?

How many banks did you call before you were able to get one that would do a cash out refinance on your BRRRR?

I don’t understand why some people have such a difficult time finding bankers to do a cash out refinance. Someone on these forums said you need to call 30-50 banks to find one that would do it.

I called 15 banks out of a list of 40 and 4 bankers told me they’d do it. That doesn’t include the 3 voicemails that I left.

I don’t understand. Why are people having such difficulty?
