Can I deduct insurance costs on my investment property?

I know you can deduct a lot of things qt the end of the year but I'm getting mixed signals on the insurance.

Short and sweet can the house insurance for an investment property be deducted at the end of the year?

Yes, any expense you have for your rental is deductible. What would be the reason you couldn't deduct your insurance costs?
