City inspector is coming - now what
I received an appointment from the city inspector for a month out. In speaking with other investors, seems it’s a normal thing to come through and check CO2, smoke detectors, etc.
Problem is I may (not) have done some work on the building and have two bathrooms opened up to the studs and sub floor. Nothing permitted. General plumbing and electrical stuff.
Some REI friends say focus on the bathrooms and get them closed up and moved along. Others are saying just wait for the inspection and get my hand slapped.
This is the first walk through, there has never been an inspection before or any photo evidence.
Which route would you take?
