Who is likely to lend to a person with bad credit & no money down

I’m trying to help my buyer clients find a loan for a house in Maine but we haven’t found anyone who will lend, any suggestions

I read the title of this thread and thought, "An idiot." You don't have buyer clients. You have dreamers. And remember, in this market, any good deals in the way of single-family properties are getting snapped up by investors in all-cash deals all over the country.

I think that sooner or later, we're sure to see the federal government act to "save the dream of home ownership in America." And that will be the beginning of the run-up to the next major housing crisis. That'll take time to develop, at least.
