Going back and forth on what my first deal should be

I said I was going to house hack for my first deal, now I’m thinking buy a house to put us in while our kiddo goes through high school, we currently rent, and then refinance, use that money to purchase first rental property..!!! So many choices I love it, but all these ideas in my head are slowing my progress down I think.

Where ever we move next we need to be there for at least 4 years while our kid goes through high school. Suggestions?!?!
