Posted

Are there syndication investment opportunities posted on BP? If not, where can I find syndications to invest?

Syndication investments can’t be publicly advertised unless the sponsor follows specific procedures, not the least of which is restricting the offering to only accredited investors. While that’s not a tremendous hurdle, it also requires that the sponsors verify that every investor is accredited. That examination can be burdensome, so many sponsors choose to use the exemption that does not require them to restrict the offering to accredited investors—but that means they can’t advertise.

So the best thing to do is find sponsors and do your research on them.  Choose the sponsors that meet your criteria and then wait for them to bring you investment opportunities as they come available.
