Hollywood or Boca Raton FL buying Vacation/Investment Property

Hello everyone,

Looking for advice from investors/owners or people with knowledge of the area.  I am looking to purchase a vacation/investment property in South Florida this year.  My main concern is flooding as well as long term value appreciation of the property.  Between Hollywood or Boca Raton FL, which one would be a better investment?  Do you think there are other places close to the beach to consider over those two? Looking to stay in the property for a couple of weeks about five times a year and maybe rent the property for a month/day/week.  Looking for single family or a townhouse.  What would be a better buy between the two?  I am looking to keep the property for retirement.

Any information is really appreciate it.  Thank you.

Daniel
