Regards to Assistant Access

I recently saw an add for a webinar on Facebook about using the MLS to score deals (assistant access) I know that agents/ realtors are the individuals who have access to but was curious to see if the guy was spilling some great info or if he was ultimately just selling a course. If anybody could give me a little more insight and if it is actually possible to use the MLS as a tool to find deals. Again, I'm a noob and still learning the game so tread lightly lol
