Does it make sense to invest in & around Austin?

Hello folks,

As tech companies like Oracle & Tesla look to move to Austin, I was looking at North/Northwest/Northeast Austin to find some investment properties and see that it has already had a big run up over the last few years.

I am new to Austin market and considering buying one or two multi-family units depending on the potential value they present over other investment types for the long run. I am not dependent on immediate cash-flow, and also not looking to fund it further once I buy.

With that background, does it still make sense to buy in Austin if my horizon is about 15 years to see a worthwhile return/appreciation.

Any comments/inputs are much appreciated.
