Getting started in wholesale

Hello all, I’m interested in getting started into the world of wholesale. I understand the basic concepts, but have no team or contacts set in place and am pretty shaky on how everything works after driving for $ and getting an offer accepted. Any help would be appreciated! I live in Eastern NC and would also love to connect with likeminded investors!

@Brendan VanDalinda hi Brendan!! I love to see fellow Carolinians on here!

I personally am not a wholesaler but I looked into wholesaling for a little while. Although I decided against it for the time being, the first thing I had planned to do was get a legal contract together with a lawyer’s approval so that when you find that deal, you can confidently lock you into that deal with no legal issues. I don’t know if NC is a state where you need to double close or not but that’s something you should definitely look into. Another addition to your contract should be terms that can get you out of the deal if you can’t find someone to buy it.

BP has state contracts for all RE investing techniques in each state, might be a good starting point!

Like I said, I am not a wholesaler but if I were to start, that’s where I would start! I hope that helps and best of luck!
