I’m currently an active duty Marine so I don’t make much per year, but I’m already a home owner, using my va home loan to purchase my first house (house hacking) I have a cheap car and not really much else besides the house I’m thinking of getting another property for an investment property (around 200k) but the down payment thing is insane.

I’m pretty new and am struggling figuring out good ways to come up with the money for a down payment! Any ideas?

Hello all, I’m interested in getting started into the world of wholesale. I understand the basic concepts, but have no team or contacts set in place and am pretty shaky on how everything works after driving for $ and getting an offer accepted. I bought my first home about four months ago using the VA Loan, I'm currently living in it and house hacking it. I'm looking into options of how to finance another deal that I could use to purchase a rental property nearby. I've heard that you can't take out another mortgage if you haven't lived in your home for a certain amount of time? Andy advice?

I’m getting ready to close on my first home in Jacksonville, are there any other people who invest around here? I figure with the steady paychecks from marines, it isn’t a bad move.
