Would it be smart to build duplexes?
Hey guys! In a few months, my family and I are planning to build and sale duplex’s in Oklahoma. Specifically in the Edmond, Mustang, and surrounding areas. My dad who will be the owner of the company is currently a VP at his other house development job. Combined, my family and I have about 16 years of building custom homes.
My question is, do you think it would be a smart idea to build duplexes and sell them to investors or other first time home buyers? We are leaning more towards this direction because even if we don’t sale them, than we can rent them out. There are hardly any duplexes for sale in Oklahoma so I think This could be good.
What thoughts or advice do you have on this topic? Please let me know!

Hi I’m a realtor in Oklahoma that works with many investors. Honestly building is where the money is right now. If you go this route I would have multiple investors that would be interested.
