Meet ups impact of COVID

Has any one been hosting a meet up?  I wanted to get one started in my town but the COVID thing is a bit of a wet blanket.  Most of the meetings around town have dried up.  If you did start one or have been hosting a meet up of any kind how was the turn out?  And if you have any pointer let me know.  Or if you think it is a stupid idea right feel free to lay it me.
