Looking for appraisers to "interview" for college assignment

The assignment instructions are to interview professional appraisers in order to form response to following question: "Do you believe that a real estate appraiser needs to be licensed in California? Why or why not?"

To any appraisers willing to respond:

Are you licensed?

Is a license required to practice in appraisal field?

What led you to work in this area of the Real Estate industry?

Thank you!
