Regarding vitriol in the forums

I've been a BP member for awhile now but I only check in every now and then to see what's going on in the REI world and/or to post a question about my rental properties. Sadly, I've noticed a disturbing trend on these boards... what used to be a great tool for investors and people seeking information about REI has turned into the typical social board of put-downs and insults, rather than mindfulness and helpful conversation. We're all here at BP for one common purpose, education, and to see what these boards have devolved into is disheartening.
