How much umbrella insurance to get, when paired with LLC and property-level insurance?

I have 4 questions, dealing with two people, Person "A" and Person "B"

1) How much property-level landlord insurance should one get, assuming: The properties in question are all value of ~$250K average with 20% equity (~$50K equity value). The properties may or may not be held in LLC, but they will be paired with umbrella personal liability. Is $1MM landlord insurance each sufficient or overkill? Is there any great reason to save the $25-50 bucks and go with $0.5MM?

2) Person "A" currently has $200K checking account savings, a pension of $50K/year, and a 401K with $700K assets. He owns 2 properties of $250K value each with $50K equity each, with $100K total equity. The 2 properties each have $1MM property-level landlord insurance. The 2 properties are held by an LLC. How much personal liability umbrella insurance should Person "A" carry? $1MM, $2MM or $3MM?

3) Person "B" currently has only $200K checking account savings, but income of $400K/year, and a 401K with $200K assets. He owns 3 properties of $250K value each with $50K equity each, with $150K total equity. The 3 properties each have $1MM property-level landlord insurance. The 3 properties are not currently in an LLC. How much personal liability umbrella insurance should Person "A" carry? $1MM, $2MM or $3MM?

4) How does the answer to question (3) change if the properties are held in an LLC?
