Quick Closing on REOs/Shorts- 7 to 10 days.

I'm just wondering... how effective is it to offer a quick closing on REOs and short sales?

Examples:

Close in 10 days, with 7 days for inspections.

Close in 7 days, with 5 days for inspection.

How much more effective is this for getting a better price? Particularly on short sales and REOs..? This is opposed to closing in 30 days with 17 days for inspections/contingencies.

I'm just trying to see how I can increase my chances of getting better deals.
