Can someone help with how much per sqft to construct a duplex
Thinking about building two duplexes in the Raleigh area and wanted to know if anyone had a idea on how much that would run me as far as the price per sqft with a medium quality trim

Don't forget the city fees. This will help identify what costs you will need to pay. Also, Pages 34-35 have a summary of the ICC Building Valuation Data that, in theory, should give you a ballpark figure in square feet (SF) of building value. For a duplex, the values (excluding land) ranges from $118.45 to $151.10 per SF depending on the type of construction, descriptions of which you can find . Add in land acquisition and development fees (I would guestimate $25K per dwelling but a builder (I'm not) can chime in) then you'll have a ballpark figure per SF.
