Supply and demand. Where to find data?

Smart investors whove been there and done that, are always saying “look at the supply and demand.” Where can a new investor like myself, find a reliable and professional resource that knows this data? Do you use free websites/apps, paid resources, brokers/realtors? All suggestions and comments are appreciated.
