Property under contract

Hey BP family, Wanted to reach out to seasoned investors. I just put this duplex under contract right now, and the property inspection came back with the roof needing to be replaced and a door. My agent told me that the seller will replace the roof and the door before we close. My question is what will you guys do, have the seller replace it or have him credit me back on purchase price. Reason being is what if they do a horrible job on the roof. I know it will save me some money if he gets it repaired? What do you guys think. Feel free to shoot back with comments.

@Koob Moua - I would have the seller get it repaired. Saves you the headache. I would put in the inspection objection that the roof is to be inspected and make sure that it is up to code before closing on the property.

Congratulations on being under contract!
