BP is selling forms now. That's disappointing.

So I got an email in BP that they are selling forms for 7 landlord forms at an "introductory" price of $99--normally $199!  I can only say I'm disappointed.  This, after jacking up their pro and plus memberships.

While I appreciate that BP has to make money, this just seems like too much for too little.  One of the things I have loved about BP, and what has made me want to add value by contributing, is that this has never seemed like a money grab.

I'm not sure that is true anymore.

There are plenty of places to get forms like Leases online. BiggerPockets happens to have a lot of Landlords, and a couple of us have painstakingly gone over them, state by state, to produce a product that we believe gives investors a starting point that is better than what the competition provides. We've gone out and hired lawyers state by state at great expense, to make sure that the forms meet state-specific concerns and address concerns that we've seen come up across thousands of interactions with landlords over the years.

And we have a money-back guarantee.

Why not download the forms, read them (particularly the leases), and see if you or your lawyer believes that some of what we have in there limits your risk, or provides new ideas to the extent that it provides more than $100 in value to you?

If it does, great! We earned your business. If not, no problem. We'll refund the money for the lease purchase.

It's a free country, no one is forcing you to buy our forms. Regardless of whether we earn your business on this particular product, we hope to continue delivering tons and tons of free educational value to everyone forever.
