Following up Leads for a house

I am beginning real investing and I have two questions that I have been wonderning.

1. After I have been doing drive for dollars and find homes that are distressed and writing down addresses for those houses. Where should I call to find the owner of the home.

2. And who should I contact to inspect the title of the house.
