Inspections: Go alone or with contractor?
When it comes to inspecting the property, do you go alone or do you go with a contractor to get a true estimate of repairs?

Jackie, you really need to develop the skill of being able to see what needs to be done.
Your home inspector will only point out things that are broken or don't work. Your contractor will spend as much of your money as you will allow. He might very well suggest upgrades that you don't need.
