Looking to invest in the Metro Detroit area
Hi there,
I'm trying to become a successful real estate investor. I've had my real estate license for a few months now. I see a lot of people having success in the Metro Detroit area, Wayne county, Oakland county, Macomb county. I have a investor who has cash who's willing to do fix and flips, but i'm also interested in getting into wholesaling.
I'm looking for advice as to how to get information on distressed properties. I know in Wayne county Michigan they put pre foreclosures in the newspaper. The Detroit Legal News I believe is the name of the paper. But is there a way to go down to the court house and get information on pre foreclosures? Is there a website that provides this information? Can we contact people via telephone or is it strictly direct mail marketing? If we can contact via telephone once again is there a website that provides us with the homeowners telephone number? I'm just trying to figure out ways to streamline the process to make this transition as smooth as possible.
Any advice, and information would be gladly accepted and appreciated!
Good luck to all of you!
