@Scott Matthew C. I will definitely get my profile completed, I've been reading a ton of forums and posts and just trying to soak in as much information as possible. If you want to meet tomorrow around 2:00 or 3:00 before your closing I'd love to get together.

Hello local Detroit Investors!

I'm newer to investing in the Metro Detroit area, and i'm looking into wholesaling, and flipping. I'm trying to find the best way to find pre foreclosures in the Metro area. Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw County specifically. I know they publish information in the Detroit Legal News, but is there a site, or location in Downtown Detroit where you can get information on pre foreclosures? I'm sure each county is different but any information would help!

Also, is there anyone in the area willing to mentor for wholesaling?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Best of luck to you all!

Hello everyone! I'm currently looking to educate myself in trying to find deals from pre foreclosure properties. I know there's the legal news website where pre foreclosures are published in metro Detroit but is there any websites that are more useful than others? Also, what's the best way to contact these people to discuss working together? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

I'm trying to become a successful real estate investor. I've had my real estate license for a few months now. I see a lot of people having success in the Metro Detroit area, Wayne county, Oakland county, Macomb county. I have a investor who has cash who's willing to do fix and flips, but i'm also interested in getting into wholesaling.

I'm looking for advice as to how to get information on distressed properties. I know in Wayne county Michigan they put pre foreclosures in the newspaper. The Detroit Legal News I believe is the name of the paper. But is there a way to go down to the court house and get information on pre foreclosures? Is there a website that provides this information? Can we contact people via telephone or is it strictly direct mail marketing? If we can contact via telephone once again is there a website that provides us with the homeowners telephone number? I'm just trying to figure out ways to streamline the process to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Any advice, and information would be gladly accepted and appreciated!

Good luck to all of you!
