Hi, I am new to BP. I want to jump into the real estate investing. So far I have saved up some money around $10K for investing in real estate. I am located in the Killeen, TX area. I need some advice on where are some great places to start searching for properties and what are some of the best sources.

Another place you can start is by finding a real estate agent that specializes in investing and just going to lunch with them and talking most agents will give you time and advice simply because there is a possibility they may do a deal with you at some point. This will also allow you to pick their brain because our market in the Fort Hood area is a lot different then most.
