RE investing in Philadelphia, PA

Hi Everyone!

Hope this post finds everyone well. My name is Mewded (Mo-did) and I will be moving to the Philadelphia, PA area shortly. I am a nurse practitioner full time but have always had an interest in RE since undergrad. Now that my professional career has settled, I am looking to invest within the Philadelphia market to diversify my income as much as possible with the end goal of multiple passive incomes through multiple avenues in RE.

My short-term goals:

-Buy a duplex within 6 months to house hack

-Seek RE internship opportunities within the Philadelphia area

-Pursue networking/learning opportunities; meet anyone in the RE (wholesalers, investors, flippers, landlords, etc), both locally in Philadelphia and nationwide

-Where to locate investors meetings locally

Just want to learn, learn, learn! And the best application of it is through hands on experience.

To conclude, seeking any and all real estate folks who are doing well, especially in the Philadelphia area, that are willing to take the minimal time needed to help a motivated young woman navigate this new adventure and hopefully become RE partners one day:)

Look forward to meeting you guys!
